We invite you to join us for a special evening celebrating Cape Fear River Watch.
For the past 30 years, this community has stood with us to protect and improve the Cape Fear River. Your support over the years cannot be understated. You have helped us educate generations of local youth and community members through our educational programs and summer camps, collect hundreds of thousands of pounds of pollution from local waterways, and spend countless hours on the river enjoying our beautiful basin. You also helped us stop Titan Cement, clean up Duke Energy's coal ash at two locations in the watershed, force Chemours to dramatically reduce PFAS pollution in our drinking water, and with many other campaigns to protect and improve the Cape Fear Basin! That's all worth celebrating!
Please join us at the beautiful Brooklyn Arts Center in downtown Wilmington, from 7-10 pm May 31st, enjoy drinks, live music from The Midatlantic, special speakers, and fond memories of Cape Fear River Watch being shared over the years. And of course, no birthday celebration is complete without a birthday cake! We cannot wait to see you there!
