"Step into the vivid, ever-changing world of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons with the Wilmington Symphony Orchestra’s third Classics Series concert of 25/26 Season—an evening that blends baroque brilliance with virtuosic flair. This concert also features Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 1 in C Major.

We are thrilled to welcome two extraordinary guest artists from Boston’s renowned Handel and Haydn Society: Aisslinn Nosky, Concertmaster, and Guy Fishman, Principal Cellist. With Nosky leading Vivaldi’s beloved masterwork from the violin, audiences will experience the iconic concertos as both timeless and newly alive, rich with character, color, and seasonal storytelling.

Complemented by a program that celebrates baroque elegance and vibrant textures, this performance promises a night of exhilarating musicianship and deeply moving interpretation."

Presented by William “Bill” Caudill, former bagpipe instructor and Pipe Major at St. Andrews University, the recital features a range of marches, jig, reels, and slow airs that celebrate Celtic heritage of this remarkable instrument.
