Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters, Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication, but the publishers are not interested – her friend, Professor Bhaer, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America.

Big Dawg Theatre Company Announces White Rabbit Red Rabbit at Thalian Hall
Wilmington, NC — Big Dawg Theatre Company will present the daring and unconventional play White Rabbit Red Rabbit at Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts in the Ruth and Bucky Stein Theater. Performances run February 12–15 and February 19–22, with evening performances at 7:30 PM and Sunday matinees at 3:00 PM.Written by Iranian playwright Nassim Soleimanpour, White Rabbit Red Rabbit is a theatrical experiment unlike any other. Each night, a different actor takes the stage having never read the script before. There are no rehearsals, no director, and no advance preparation. The performer receives the script live, onstage, discovering the play at the same moment as the audience.Big Dawg Theatre Company has assembled a diverse and accomplished cast for this production. Appearing over the course of the run (in no particular order) are Chad Hsu, Anthony Lawson, Randy Davis, Steve Vernon, Heather Setzler, Kaleb Edley, Jamey Stone, Morganna Bridgers, and Cathy Street, with Erin Sullivan-Wertz serving as an alternate performer should the need arise.In keeping with the spirit of the play, no announcement will be made in advance as to which actor performs on which night.
