Downtown Wilmington's Pumpkin Patch Is Coming Back!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 19th because we’re kicking off another season of pumpkins, pints & fall fun at Flytrap Brewing! We’ll be transforming the beer garden into our very own Pumpkin Patch for the season, and we’re celebrating the Grand Opening with a full day of festivities.

- Eastside Food Truck | 1–4 PM
- Live Music from The Yard Doggs | 2–5 PM
- Leo’s Pizza | 5–8 PM

And the fun doesn’t stop at the Grand Opening! We’ve got a whole Pumpkin Patch Events Schedule packed with fall favorites. Follow along as we roll out the full lineup of happenings and get ready for a season of pumpkins, pints, music, markets & plenty of spooky fun at your neighborhood brewery!

We’re transforming the Flytrap beer garden into a fall-filled Pumpkin Patch—we’re kicking things off on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 with a full day of fun...

Let’s talk about the 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭! From 𝟏-𝟓 𝐩𝐦, nestled under the trees just right across the street will be buzzing with local artisans, makers, and creatives bringing along their unique handmade goods, art, vintage finds, and more. It’s the perfect excuse to grab a pint, pop over and stroll the market, and do a little shopping while you’re here.

Join us on Saturday, September 19th, at Legacy Architectural Salvage, where we will be hosting our third Song Circle!

What is a Song Circle, you may ask? It is an informal music gathering where participants are invited to sit together in a circle to sing, play instruments, and share songs. This is a low-pressure opportunity to meet fellow local musicians and performers, share your own pieces, and enjoy great company.

Who can attend? Anyone of any skill level is welcome to join! If you are a seasoned performer, this is a great chance to try out a new piece before your next show. Brand new to the music scene? No problem! If you aren't comfortable sharing when your turn comes, simply pass it on to the next musician! There is no audience and no pressure. Simply enjoy the afternoon and talents of our community!

Please note that this event will be held in our warehouse, which can be warm. Please dress accordingly.

Five of the area's best local bands will take the stage at Bowstring for an electrifying showdown, each performing a high-energy 20–30 minute set while competing for an incredible prize package. But this isn't just about great music, it's about making a difference.

Here's where you come in: You decide the winner!

Audience members will cast their votes through donations, with every dollar supporting the life-changing ministry of First Fruit Ministries. Watch the live leaderboard as bands battle for the top spot and cheer on your favorite performers.

The winning band will receive:

🎸 A $1,000 paid return performance at Bowstring
🎙️ An exclusive professional recording studio session
📸 A professional band photoshoot

The Local Boys, a blue grass band based in Charlotte, North Carolina,have been sharing their love of Bluegrass and Americana music for more than 20 years. The band blends traditional bluegrass, old-time country, and rock 'n' roll into a lively, authentic sound. They've appeared at festivals across the country—including MerleFest—and their debut album, Stories, features original music rooted in the rich traditions of American roots music. Join us for an evening of exceptional musicianship, rich harmonies and classic bluegrass entertainment.
All Music on Market Concerts are free, open to the public and family friendly
Tickets are not required. Venue Seating is Limited.
Seating is on First-Come, First-Served basis.

Join us this Sunday, September 20th from 3–6 PM for live music with Paige Bacon, bringing her lovely voice and own spin to a fun mix of covers you know and love. Pair your afternoon pint with some wicked good eats from New England Peddlah, rolling through from 3–6 PM. Good tunes, good food, and a cold one waiting for you at the neighborhood brewery!

Join the folks at Fermental as we celebrate the arrival of February with our weekly SUNDAY JAZZ JAM, hosted by local artist, Jay Killman.

5pm - 8pm

With a solid foundation of house musicians including Killman, Jon Hill, and Gabrielle Sánchez, this recurring renaissance of jazz welcomes all level of performers: students, professionals, and beginners.

Bring your instrument or bring your ear and enjoy a weekly session of jazz artists and jazz enthusiasts.
