The Big Nosh is back! Temple of Israel's fundraiser brings all your favorite delicacies all the way from New York to you: pastrami, corned beef, homemade knishes, Gus' pickles, Green's babka and rugelah, homemade kugel, and more. Orders must be placed by November 2. Pickup is November 16, 11am - 4pm at the Reibman Center, 922 Market St. (corner of 10th and Market). Drive. to the back of the building for pickup. Get ready to have fun and decorate for the holidays with the 3rd Annual Lighting The Way Christmas Tree Auction! This unique fundraiser is hosted by Thalian Association Community Theatre to benefit the Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center.

Here’s how it works:
Thalian Association will provide a FREE tabletop Christmas tree to anyone who wants to participate. They can be decorated in the theme of your choice; you can promote a business or just be creative, perhaps enjoy a spirited competition between friends and neighbors! Once decorated, participants drop their trees at the Community Arts Center where they will be on display in preparation for an online auction that is open to the public.

Thursday morning music club meets at 10:30 on the second Thursday Oct. - May. Our upcoming meeting will feature Beverly Andrews and the Classical Carolina trio in the lovely chapel at first Presbyterian Church. Reception will follow.

On November 15th from 10-2 the Hoggard High School STAE program will have its 3rd annual Holiday Market. We will have over 40 vendors including Bad B's Book truck and Twisted Drop Coffee. Pull on your favorite boots and join Historic Wilmington Foundation for Bourbon, Boots & BBQ at Green Acres (Home of Gregg Thomas and Tom Faust) on Saturday, Nov. 15, from 4-8 p.m. Enjoy delicious smoked, whole hog, pulled barbecue with all the fixins; three tasty signature bourbon cocktails, beer, wine and mocktails; toe-tapping live bluegrass music by Borrowed Time; and a select group of bid-worthy silent auction items.

Proceeds support Historic Wilmington Foundation's mission to preserve and protect the irreplaceable historic resources of Wilmington and the Lower Cape Fear.

The Holiday Train Expo is fun for the whole family. See 12 layouts, over 30 trains and beautiful holiday decorations. Come experience the magic of the POLAR EXPRESS!
The Expo is open on Saturdays and Sundays from Noon to 5 pm starting November 30th through December 29th.
A special Black Friday showing will be Friday November 29th from Noon to 5 pm.
After Christmas, come out on additional days: December 27th and 30th from Noon to 5 pm to keep the Holiday magic going.
Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
$9.00 for adults, $7.00 for children, Infants are free.
