A free public reading group devoted to T. S. Eliot's THE WASTE LAND, first published in 1922. With discussions facilitated by Dr. Alessandro Porco, Associate Professor of English. From the safety of their suburban stretch circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigor of a pack of adolescent warriors. A portrait of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for nine American girls who just want to score some goals. THIS SHOW CONTAINS STRONG LANGUAGE AND SENSITIVE TOPICS

ARTfall showcases outstanding original artwork by emerging and established artists while providing the public an opportunity to purchase original works from talented regional creators. Preference will be given to artists from the Lower Cape Fear region.

The exhibition will be open to the public on Friday and Saturday, September 18–19, and Monday through Saturday, September 21–26, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Explore the waters on a custom pontoon boat around Masonboro Island and Wrightsville Beach. Captained by a naturalist ,this one hour trip provides a combination of natural history and local flora and fauna ecology

Drawing upon the diverse and extensive musical backgrounds of its members, Churchyard Ghost eludes any particular genre opting to draw upon a menagerie of musical motifs to tell sinister tales of murder, devilry, and good old fashioned sin.
