Cape Fear Fencing Association 8 week beginning homeschool fencing class starts March 11th at 1:30 pm in the basement of the Tileston gym, 5th and Ann Streets. Class will meet for approximately 1 hour on Wednesdays. Students should wear loose fitting clothing and sneakers. The club provides all necessary fencing gear. Appropriate for ages 8 and up. Cost is $40 plus a $34 membership to USA Fencing (purchased on usafencing.org) good until July 31, 2026. Taught by Internationally accredited instructor. Cape Fear Fencers are the current defending State Homeschool Team Champions under the auspices of the Southeastern Cardinals organization.

Flytrap Brewing presents a three-part culinary & wine series in collaboration with Chef Sam Cahoon of Savorez and our wine rep Lauren Dixon of Winebow | Fine Wines & Spirits. Join us for one immersive class or all three for the full flavor experience. Each evening features hands-on cooking instruction with Sam paired with a curated trio of wines selected and presented by Lauren.

Repair Café is free. We will have tools and experienced people who can work with you to find the best way to repair your item. We can assist with electrical and non-electrical appliances, furniture, jewelry, clothing, toys and much more. The Ukulele Strummers of the Cape Fear meet the 4th Tuesday of every month at the NHC Arboretum Education Center on Oleander Dr. in Wilmington from 6:30p until 8:30p.

We want to spread the love that we have for the Ukulele to as many people as we can. We welcome all ages, all abilities, and all people!

We publish song charts on our website so you can download them and practice before the strum.

So, if your a seasoned Uke player or just beginning, please join us for a few hours of fun, strumming, and singing!

Firefest is two-day celebration of glass, ceramics, and metal arts, April 3 & 4 at Starworks!
