Join us in our interactive activities to learn all about different types of plant seeds, how to gather them, the correct way to store them, and how to properly start new plants with seeds.

We will also be hosting a seed swap,
so, bring your own seeds to share. Seeds should be dry and clean, and packaged in labeled envelopes.

Open to the public.

The Cape Fear Fencing Association will be hosting the North Carolina High School Fencing League State Championships at The Tileston Gym, South 5th Avenue and Ann Street, starting at 10 am on February 7, 2026. The events to be contested are Men’s Foil team, Women’s Foil team, and Coed Epee team. The event is free and open to spectators. For more information contact gregoryspahr@yahoo.com.

Thursday morning music club meets at 10:30 on the second Thursday Oct. - May. Our upcoming meeting will feature Beverly Andrews and the Classical Carolina trio in the lovely chapel at first Presbyterian Church. Reception will follow.
