Cameron Art Museum is proud to welcome one of NC’s Southern Songbirds, Rissi Palmer in concert with Charles Newkirk. While she made her mark in Country Music, Palmer’s gift lies in reaching across all musical boundaries. Rissi is equally at home in R&B music, bringing the entire spectrum of popular music to bear on music she calls “Southern Soul.”

Frank Bongiorno directs UNCW Jazz Ensemble, made up of music majors and minors and students from across the university. UNCW Jazz Ensemble performs a variety of jazz music from swing to mainstream jazz and has established a tradition of musical excellence in jazz. Program includes: Thelonious Monk: Blue Monk; Oliver Nelson: Stolen Moments; Rogers & Hart: Have You Met Miss Jones?; Curtis Fuller: Ala Mode; Count Basie / and Frank Foster: Blues in Hoss’ Flat. Face coverings are required.
