The Burgwin-Wright House is pleased to welcome two sisters, Annie Ingram and Hiedi Woessner, to our gallery for their show “Salt Sisters: Marsh to Mellow.”
Their artworks will be on display and for sale in our art gallery through March 21. Admission is free. The gallery is open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm.
About the Show“Salt Sisters: Marsh to Mellow” is a celebration of place, peace, and sisterhood. For sisters Annie Ingram and Hiedi Woessner, the coast has always been their happy place - a space to breathe, reflect, and feel grounded.
Though their styles differ, their inspiration is shared. Hiedi paints calming, expansive ocean scenes that invite stillness and quiet reflection. Annie’s current work captures the colorful, joy-filled rhythms of the marsh, alive with movement, warmth, and light.
Now living near one another along the coast of North Carolina, the sisters often paint with their toes in the sand, translating the same shoreline into two distinct emotional experiences - one mellow, one vibrant - connected by salt air and shared memory.
Join us for a public tour of Boundless, a sculpture by NC artist Stephen Hayes commemorating the United States Colored Troops and their fight for freedom led by Daniel Jones, CAM Cultural Curator.

Beginning March 6th, in collaboration with The Gallery of Fine Art, we are thrilled to offer a pop up art exhibit with the works of Fabio Napoleoni. This exhibit will feature a variety of limited edition prints by the artist.
What the heart wants and the heart needs can be found in a Fabio Napoleoni painting. Nostalgia, sorrow and moments that lift the soul are all there for the world to see and experience along with him. The vivid colors and captivating characters invite you into an emotional ride that is welcomed by the mind and the heart. Simple landscapes set the stage to the value of emotional attachment that can be compared to no other. Influences from some of this century’s greatest artists are hard to find in his pieces, but are drenched deep in the fabric of what puts a Napoleoni painting together.
This exhibit will run through April 19th, alongside a new selection of featured works by our 30+ Gallery Artists!
Join us in the gallery on Sunday, March 29th, 2-5pm for a Special Reception. This event is free and open to the public.
