Working primarily in watercolor, Valerie is known for her โloose, expressive botanicals that beautifully capture both the delicacy and vitality of the natural world.โ Her connection to flowers began in childhood while wondering barefoot through the local garden center her family owned for more than thirty yearsโan experience that shaped a lifelong relationship with plants, seasons, and the quiet poetry of gardens.
After years working as a florist and flower grower, Valerie now paints while raising her two young sons, creating work that reflects freedom, movement, and growthโechoing both nature and the seasons of life. In addition to her botanical work, she also creates thoughtful home portrait commissions.
Come celebrate the opening with us, meet the artist, and spend an evening surrounded by lovely art, tasty food, and live music.
