Internationally renowned organist Monte Maxwell will make his debut appearance in Wilmington at St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in a solo organ recital on September 18th. Maxwell serves at the US Naval Academy and director of the Midshipmen Symphony Orchestra. As the principal organist for the US Naval Academy, Mr. Maxwell commands a five-manual, 268-rank organ in the main chapel. At St. Matthew's, he will perform on the church's beautiful recently refurbished Austin pipe organ.
