Carrboro, North Carolina, known for its deep-rooted musical heritage and thriving arts scene, is set to host the first-ever Carrboro Bluegrass Festival, Presented by the Cat's Cradle, on Saturday May 24th, 2025. The festival will offer a powerful lineup, including several artists with deep connections to the area. ● Jim Lauderdale – A legendary North Carolina singer-songwriter and two-time Grammy winner, whose contributions to bluegrass and Americana music are unparalleled.● Bronwyn Keith-Hynes – Grammy award-winning and multiple year IBMA fiddler of the year, bringing exceptional skill and energy to the stage, with a repertoire spanning traditional and progressive bluegrass.● Woody Platt – A founding member of the Steep Canyon Rangers, renowned for his distinctive vocals and guitar work.● Po’ Ramblin’ Boys – A dynamic group dedicated to preserving the high-energy, hard-driving sound of classic bluegrass.● Max Wareham – A rising star in the bluegrass world, known for his innovative banjo playing and deep respect for traditional bluegrass sounds.● Graham Sharp – A celebrated musician and songwriter, best known for his work with the Grammy-winning Steep Canyon Rangers.The festival will take place at Cat’s Cradle Back Yard in Carrboro, North Carolina.
