Hurricane Idalia

Idalia, which made landfall in Florida as a Category 3 hurricane, is prompting local schools and other government services to close.

Idalia, which has strengthened into a Category 3 hurricane as it approaches Florida's Gulf Coast, will strike the coast of the Carolinas as a tropical storm this week.
