Investigations over alleged cases of domestic violence continue to populate newscasts on a near-daily basis.
In recent weeks, there have been public allegations regarding a contestant on the TV show Top Chef; George Foreman’s son; NASCAR Driver Kurt Busch; football player Ray McDonald (in that case, prosecutors chose not to file charges), and, most famously, Football Player Ray Rice – whose appeal of his lifetime ban from the NFL is still awaiting a verdict.

How much is our culture to blame?
In this edition of CoastLine, we sort through some of these questions and the complicated dynamics surrounding violence between intimate partners.
