Join us Thursday, March 27 @ 8:00 PM at The BarZarre as Squidco's Hooked on Sonics series presents The Wilmington Sound Orchestra, the 30th in our series of concerts exploring experimental, electronic & acoustic sounds.

The Wilmington Sound Orchestra is comprised of members of Wilmington's experimental sound community, with members from Authorless, CTb, Street Clones, Cheval Gris, plus Austin Glover, Judson Hurd, Allison Parker, and Carl Kruger The WSO will present will present three works — "Driving to the Space Port" and "The Arguments", both pieces conductions using a variety of extended instruments, electronic and acoustic, following the guidance of the conductor to improvise rhythmic and arrhythmic sound. A work of integrated samples and acoustic instruments will also be featured.
The performance is free and the sounds compelling and unusual, so please join us on March 27th!
