Marcus Gee is a young, gifted cellist from North Carolina who will be performing an electic recital program of works from Dvořák and Saint-Saens to Piazzolla and Rachmaninoff. This concert is presented with Chamber Music Wilmington. Marcus attends the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University studying under the internationally renowned cellist, Amit Peled. Marcus has been fortunate enough to travel abroad and participate in the YOLA National Festival and the YOLA National Institute where he performed as Principal Cellist with the Los Angeles Philharmonic under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel.
