The Wilmington Empty Bowls event is Friday, March 11-you can get soup, bread, and a hand-crafted bowl by a local artist between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm at the First Baptist Center on Independence Boulevard. The soup and bread comes from over 25 Wilmington restaurants-and you can "eat in" or have your lunch to go.

This biennial fundraiser supports the work of Mother Hubbard's Cupboard and Good Shepherd Center. Tickets are just $20 for this philanthropic luncheon, and they are available on-site. Listen to Jane Radack talk about the fundraiser-and a special sale of ceramics from Hiroshi Sueyoshi.
