WHQR is saddened to hear about the passing of former Development Director Beth Steelman. She will be greatly missed as she was a great friend of the station and very involved in the community.

Her memorial service will be held on March 23 at 11 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church, 401 Grace St., Wilmington. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday (March 22) at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market St. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the N.C. Coastal Land Trust.
