About the Author: Debbie Moose is a native North Carolinian who currently resides in Raleigh, N.C. She has published several noteworthy cookbooks on such diverse Southern favorites as deviled eggs, wings, potato salad and buttermilk. She is also the proud author of “Fan Fare,” the ultimate guide to cooking for tailgate parties. Moose is the former food editor for the Raleigh News & Observer (which still runs her “Sunday Dinner” and “Tasteful Garden” columns). She currently blogs about Tar Heel cuisine in “Moose Musings” and contributes to a number of food blogs. Her articles have appeared in Southern Living, Our State, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, “Cornbread Nation” and other publications.
