Our 15th annual free community environmental education event features carnivorous plants that thrive in southeastern NC. Participants will learn about several types of carnivorous plants, why they grow here, and how they trap their prey. We will have Garden Guides to help you find carnivorous plants in the Rehder Garden and answer questions, as well as carnivorous plant-themed games, arts and crafts, and face painters! There will be informational tables from the Coastal Land Trust, Halyburton Park, Carolina Beach State Park, and The Nature Conservancy. There will be ethically sourced flytraps for sale to benefit the Coastal Land Trust (first come, first served, supplies will be limited).

Come join the Plastic Ocean Project for a night of fun and fashion at the Fourth Annual Trash'n Fash'n Show. Support the high school students who have organized this event in order to help bring awareness to the community about general wasting habits. Create an amazing outfit made of recycled/reused materials and show it off at the beautiful gardens at the New Hanover County Arboretum. 100% of the proceeds will go towards the Plastic Ocean Project!
*Attendees please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on!

Designers of all ages will have the opportunity to model their fashions made out of repurposed materials like old fabrics, vintage clothing from thrift stores, plastics, and other single use materials like paper, etc.
Trash'n Fash'n 2025 will be Pop Culture Themed!

Historic Downtown Wilmington Marketplace is a city sponsored artisan outdoor market, in our 9th year. Every Sunday from April through October, local artists set up and display their creations on Front Street between Market and Dock streets, from 10-3pm. You can find jewelry, glass, fiber, clay, paintings and wall hangings.

Bryan Saint, one of the most in-demand magicians on the east coast, is coming to Wilmington!

Even though the show is totally clean (we’re having it in a church social hall for goodness sake), this is an adult-only event. Get a babysitter and have a date night! In addition to a seat for this amazing show, your ticket gets you complimentary beer, wine, and soda.

All proceeds go to support special education classroom teachers and Special Olympics of New Hanover County.

Conplus Meeting take great pleasure & honor to cordially welcoming all the participants from all over the world to attend the International Conference on Infrastructure and Construction Engineering (ICICE2025), which will be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands from June 09-11, 2025. The event will have established and active speakers.

We sincerely hope that ICICE2025 serves as an international platform for meeting researchers from around the world, widen professional contact and create new opportunities, including establishing new collaborations. Leading practicing engineers and academics in the field of civil, structural and construction engineering will have the opportunity to communicate their state of knowledge.
