Come celebrate love and local history with the "Outlander in the Cape Fear" walking tour on February 13, May 8, August 7 and November 13!
The walking tour will invite guests to walk in the footsteps of Claire and Jamie Fraser from the global phenomenon book and Starz TV series, "Outlander." Using the North Carolina history that is laced into the romance series, guests will be able to learn about the Colonial Wilmington that real Scottish Highlanders like Claire and Jamie found when they arrived in America in the 1770s.
The walking tour will depart from the Burgwin-Wright House (224 Market Street) at 9 a.m. and run 90 minutes, stopping at about a dozen places downtown. Please wear comfortable shoes and bring water to drink.

Join us for a 90-minute walking tour in historic downtown Wilmington. The tour begins and ends at the Bellamy Mansion Museum. This tour is based on Beverly Tetterton's book "Wilmington: Lost But Not Forgotten" and will explore homes, businesses, and other buildings that have been lost to time.
The cost is $20 per person, plus tax. Space is limited, so registration is required online at the Bellamy Mansion Museum Store. This is a rain or shine event. The tours are appropriate for all ages, but please note they may not be suitable for anyone with limited mobility. If you have questions, please email info@bellamymansion.org before registering.
