Join us for a 90-minute walking tour in historic downtown Wilmington. The tour begins and ends at the Bellamy Mansion Museum. This tour is based on "A Guide to Wilmington's African American Heritage" and will explore the people and places integral to Wilmington's Black history.

The cost is $20 per person, plus tax. Space is limited, so registration is required online at the Bellamy Mansion Museum Store. Join the Burgwin-Wright House for its thrilling "Cape Fear Legends & Lore" on April 10, July 10 and October 9.

Pulling from nearly 300 years of history, the "Cape Fear Legends & Lore" tour will include stories of the tunnels underneath Wilmington, the legend of Lord Cornwallis' Revolutionary War visit to town, the time Yellow Fever turned the city into a ghost town, and the rebellious age of Prohibition.

Using the North Carolina history that is laced into the romance series, guests will be able to learn about the Colonial Wilmington that real Scottish Highlanders like Claire and Jamie found when they arrived in America in the 1770s.
