Pianist D. Scott Ferguson will perform an engaging program featuring original compositions, hymn arrangements, and selections by Bach, Debussy, and Chopin. “Gospel Rhapsody: An Afternoon with D. Scott Ferguson” will be presented on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, located at 205 East Moore Street, Southport, North Carolina. The concert is free and open to the public.

An active figure in the Carolina’s music scene, D. Scott Ferguson is a frequent collaborator with the Carolina Master Chorale, Southeastern Oratorio Society, Long Bay Symphony and Carolina Philharmonic. His diverse career spans Broadway productions, more than twenty national tours, and a ten-year tenure as a Musical Director for the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular. Ferguson currently serves on the music faculty at Coastal Carolina University.
