The New Hanover County Branch of the NAACP is excited to announce the 17th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr, Breakfast. We are inviting members, supporters and friends, businesses, and other organizations to join us in memorializing the birth and work of Dr. King in conjunction with the national Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

For 2025, the Breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at The Hotel Ballast, 301 N. Water St., Wilmington, NC 28401 at 9:00 – 11:00 am. The guest speaker will be Rev. Jermaine Armour, Senior Pastor at St. Luke AME Zion Church, Wilmington, North Carolina. The theme for the 2025 Breakfast will be, “We Are Not Going Back; We Are All In.”

We will recognize the NAACP’s Minister of the Year and the Church of the Year. Funds raised for the breakfast will be devoted to the chapter’s youth programs and scholarships.
