Rise Up Community Farm, a non-profit vegetable farm in Wilmington, NC is hosting a Harvest Festival Fundraiser to celebrate community efforts to feed the hungry and look forward toward future efforts to build food security in New Hanover County.
The Harvest Festival Fundraiser will take place at Rise Up Community Farm (4702 S. College Rd) on Oct 25th from 10am-1pm. The event will be full of sack races, face painting, and scarecrow building competitions. A BBQ and farm fresh veggie lunch will be served at 11:30am. Kids and adults of all ages are welcome.
To find the farm, you'll turn into Global River Church's parking lot and follow the drive all the way to the rear behind the buildings.
The event is open to the public at no cost, but donations toward Rise Up’s work to nourish our neighbors and increase agricultural education in New Hanover County are greatly appreciated.
