2021 Autumn with Topsail Festival
The 32nd Autumn with Topsail Festival TOPSAIL BEACH – For the 32nd year, art and music lovers will gather in Topsail Beach, North Carolina at the Autumn with Topsail Festival. The festival takes place, rain or shine, from 5:00 – 8:30PM on October 15th, 8:30AM - 8:00PM on October 16th and 8:30AM - 4:00PM on October 17th on the grounds of the Historic Assembly Building, 720 Channel Boulevard, Topsail Beach, NC. Admission is $6 for adults, or $10 for an adult two-day pass. Children 12 and under and active-duty military with an ID are free. Proceeds from the festival go to support the Historical Society of Topsail Island, a volunteer non-profit organization which owns and operates the Assembly Building and Missiles and More Museum. A new addition to this year’s festival is live music on Friday night. Round up your friends and come out on Friday night to hear The Notorious Clam Slammers get the festival started. The beer and wine tent will be open along with several food trucks. Admission is $5 and only the main gate will be open. There will be no craft vendors open on Friday night. This year’s juried art festival will feature arts and crafts from a variety of categories including oils, acrylic, charcoal, photography, ceramics, glass, metal, pottery, wood working, leather, fiber, wool, musical instruments, jewelry and much more. The best art vendors ever! Live bands performing at the festival this year include: The Notorious Clam Slammers on Friday evening from 6PM – 8:30PM, The Carolina Band will take the stage on Saturday afternoon starting at 12 noon followed at 5:00 PM by the North Tower Band. On Sunday afternoon The Band of Oz will be playing from 1:00PM - 4:00PM. In addition to the art, there is a food court that will have a large selection of food cooked on the festival grounds. Snacks and sweets will be available alongside traditional options. There will be a wine and beer tent and plenty of tables and chairs for diners to relax. The Kiwanis Club of Topsail Island Area will also host a pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Sunday inside the Assembly Building on the festival grounds. Pancake breakfast prices are $7.00 for adults and children over 12 years, $4.00 for children 6 – 11 years, and children 5 years and under eat free with an adult purchased breakfast. In the Assembly Building children’s arts and crafts include painted friendship rocks, pirate eye patches, mermaid tiaras, seashell “critters” and designing beaded anklets, necklaces, and bracelets. The Assembly Building houses the Missiles and More Museum, which will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the festival. Admission to the museum is free but donations are gladly accepted.
