Communique: Shrimp Boil Tonight (Friday) Benefits NC Coastal Federation | Surf To Sound

Tracy Skrabal & Jessica Gray

The Wrightsville Beach Paddle Club's Surf to Sound is this weekend, featuring paddle board clinics and races at the Blockade Runner. The opening reception is tonight (Friday, 11/4) at 5:30pm with a Shrimp Boil that benefits the North Carolina Coastal Federation. We spoke with two guests from the Coastal Federation: Tracy Skrabal, Regional Manager and Coastal Scientist, and Jessica Gray, the Coastal Outreach Associate. Listen to our interview above. Below, find an extended segment of our interview about stormwater runoff.

In addition to lots of food, the Shrimp Boil has various items for raffle, from artwork to ocean gear to a Hobie paddle board.
