The Wilmington Symphony Orchestra (WSO) continues its Serenades season with guest artist Daniella Zezelj-Gualdi, Croatian violinist and professor of music at UNCW. Danijela and WSO perform Tchaikovsky's Serenade in C and Albinoni's Sinfonia in G minor, but the highlight of the concert is Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires. Piazzolla revolutionized tango music by incorporating jazz and classical elements into traditional tango, creating tango nuevo. Danijela spoke with us about Piazzolla and the violin she'll be playing on loan from Ronald Sachs Violin; listen above.
