Local filmmaker Jonathan Guggenheim is known for eccentric projects. This time, he may have outdone himself. His current project, Nekokaburi!, involves a story set in an internet landscape, where the world wide web has become the wild, wild west (an apt parallel, as Guggenheim explains in our interview above). This short film will utilize stop-motion animation and digital artistry...and there are cats.
The project is currently collecting supplies and raising money, but we should see the end result in few months. See more details about the whole project at the official Nekokaburi website.
