Christopher Marino has been in town for barely over a year, but he's already made an impact on the local theater community. He staged popular readings of Shakespeare's work almost immediately upon his arrival in Wilmington and was recently named the Artistic Director of Dram Tree Shakespeare Company. Mr. Marino teaches for the UNCW Theatre Department and is the director of the upcoming production of Hamlet - using a slightly different script than audiences would usually see staged. Marino visited us accompanied by Luke Robbins, the actor playing the title role.
Hamlet opens on Thursday, February 19 at the Mainstage Theatre at UNCW ands runs through March 1. Thursday-Saturday performances are at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2 PM. Information about tickets here
