Kyle Lindley in the Spotlight at STNL!

Sara Ann Speed-Arey

He's a young man with a seemingly old soul.  Check out this clip of Kyle Lindley from Soup To Nuts Live!...

Kyle Lindley practically redefines the label "singer/songwriter," especially when it comes to a younger generation of musicians.

Influenced by his massive collection of classic folk & roots recordings on vinyl, Kyle is quick to point out just who has affected him the most:  Woody Guthrie, Ramblin' Jack Elliot, Van Morrison, Jerry Jeff Walker, Bob Dylan, and Neil Young, to name just a few.  His songwriting is poignant and crafted with elements of time and tradition.   For all his youth, Kyle Lindley has covered a lot of ground, and he's sure to bring us many more stories of the people and places that continue to shape his world.

Kyle performed at STNL! on Thursday, January 14, 2012 to a rousing audience in the MC Erny Gallery at WHQR's Front Street studios.
