Soup to Nuts Live! Presents: The Midatlantic

***SOLD OUT***

Soup to Nuts Live! welcomes The Midatlantic to WHQR's MC Erny Gallery on Thursday, May 19th.

The Midatlantic is a group of eclectic musicians hailing from the Cape Fear coast of North Carolina. Setting sail with a crew of five, The Midatlantic is an exciting and refreshing brand of folk rock that excites audiences, leaving them wanting more. With a unique blend of progressive folk, Americana, bluegrass, and a hint of rock and jazz, The Midatlantic produces their brand of music. Don't be fooled by the montage of acoustic instruments. They always deliver a wide range of melodic harmonies through songs that are sincere to love, emotion, and life experiences.

2015 was an ambitious first year for The Midatlantic. A few highlights included opening for nationally recognized bands such as The Steep Canyon Rangers, playing for Blue Moon Brewing’s 20th Anniversary party, and receiving runner-up at Floydfest’s On-The-Rise competition earning multiple standing ovations, hundreds of new fans, and an invitation to go back next year. Their local following in the Wilmington and Raleigh, NC areas over their short time together has also been overwhelmingly supportive. Major events such as The 2014 Lighthouse Beer Fest, Wilmington Brewing Company’s Grand Opening, Encore Magazine’s Best Of Party, Quintiles Marathon, and countless other festivals and private events have all welcomed The Midatlantic with open arms and cheering crowds. The Midatlantic is set to release their first full length album “Sound Over Water” on November 20th, 2015 and continue their ambitious push to spread their sounds across every mountain and every ocean.
