CAPE FEAR MEMORIAL BRIDGE: Updates, resources, and context

WHQR Donates Piano to DREAMS of Wilmington

WHQR is honored to donate our great old upright piano to DREAMS. At WHQR, this beauty has been played by most musicians in town and we have many fond memories. We're sure it will make many new, exciting ones at its new home in The Gallery at DREAMS, their exhibit space.

The piano shares a home with DREAMS' current Declarations of Success exhibit, which was created over the course of several workshops led by Mike Williams and Lamar Whidbee (artist) with The Black on Black Project.

WHQR is thrilled to see our old friend have a new home.

Mary Bradley moved to Wilmington from Los Angeles, CA in May 2007 with her husband Frank and twin baby daughters, Maggie and Kate. In California, Mary had been Drive Director and the producer of Elvis Mitchell's nationally syndicated public radio interview program "The Treatment" for public radio station KCRW for ten years. Mary was raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Boston University. Mary recently served as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Cape Fear Chapter.
