Tomorrow night, Wilmington City Council will sign off on its 2012-2013 budget, part of which involves keeping the possibility of minor league baseball on the table.
StarNews reporter Shelby Sebens has been following the baseball story and spoke with WHQR’s Sara Wood. The council will decide tomorrow whether it will extend negotiations with Mandalay and the Braves and accept National Sport Service’s feasibility study. It will also vote on whether to approve $355,000 for baseball, an amount which Sebens breaks down.
