Wilmington, NC – The vast majority of Marines at Camp Lejeune will get a new commander tomorrow morning.
As part of a normal rotation, Major General Dennis Hejlik takes command of the 47,000 Marines in the Second Marine Expeditionary Force.
Hejlik comes from the company that came under scrutiny for the shooting deaths of 19 Afghans in 2007.
After a court of inquiry, the Marine Corps concluded Hejlik's Marines acted appropriately.
