Critical Stealth Drive: We Made it! Thank You!

You did it! We met our $100,000 Critical Stealth Drive goal as of 8:30am!

THANK YOU to the 805 wonderful listeners who gave additional gifts, became first time members, or increased their sustaining gifts during the campaign! We couldn't do it without you.

With your help, WHQR has been able to cancel the summer on-air pledge drive for the last several years. And this year, we planned to meet our Critical Stealth Drive goal of $100,000 without interrupting programming. Why? Because we're living in a historic time and we didn't want to interrupt essential news programming to fundraise.

Thank you very much for your past support and for being such a great friend to HQR News 91.3fm and Classical HQR 92.7fm. WHQR is here for you and because of you.

Mary Bradley

Mary Bradley moved to Wilmington from Los Angeles, CA in May 2007 with her husband Frank and twin baby daughters, Maggie and Kate. In California, Mary had been Drive Director and the producer of Elvis Mitchell's nationally syndicated public radio interview program "The Treatment" for public radio station KCRW for ten years. Mary was raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Boston University. Mary recently served as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Cape Fear Chapter.
