The Expressionist Landscape: Classic to Contemporary
Expressionism is a wonderful pathway to abstraction! With a nod to the classic Impressionists to current contemporary abstract styles, through discussions, demos and plenty of painting exercises, this course is a fun exploration of beginner abstract techniques. We will use the landscape as our inspiration for semi- and non-objective approaches to abstract expressionism. Not for the true beginner painter. Acrylic, oil, pastel and watercolor are welcome.
