Thalian Association Community Theatre will hold auditions for their main stage holiday show, Ebenezer, October 27 and 28 at 7 pm, with callbacks Oct. 29. Auditions will be held at the Community Arts Center, 120 S. 2nd Street in downtown Wilmington. The production, with direction by Chandler Davis and choreography by Logan Hayes, runs December 12 through December 21 at Thalian Hall.

Please prepare 30 seconds (16 bars) of a musical theatre style song to sing. You may bring sheet music if you prefer but it is not mandatory. An accompanist will be provided.

Callbacks will be August 13 at the Community Arts Center. Please be prepared to read from a provided script and sing from the show.

Synopsis:
All the beloved Charles Dickens characters show up as Scrooge learns the true meaning of Christmas. This musical adaption of Dickens’ famous story showcases diverse musical styles (rock, country, gospel, polka) and varied uses of wording and language that span from one century to the next. The audience will be dazzled with the amazing choreography and unexpected comedic turns in this delightful adaptation.
