Already celebrated in more than 1,000 cities in 120 different countries, Make Music Day is unlike a typical music festival; it’s open to anyone who wants to take part -- amateur and professional, young or old, regardless of musical persuasion. Celebrated on the Summer Solstice, this is the first time MMD has come to Wilmington. Enjoy a drum circle, the Hot Flashes, Ukulele Strummers of the Cape Fear, DJ Virginia Vision and more! Three stages fully programmed, with one acoustic stage for walk-on's. The Wilmington Symphony Orchestra is also hosting a musical petting zoo. Food trucks Wheelz Pizza, Pepes Tacos and Cece's Ice Cream will be here too. Music is free and the night is long!
