Join Wilmington artist Jodie Rippy for the launch of her new book, The Cape Fear Area Painted: The Art of Jodie Rippy. In conjunction with this book launch, CAM will showcase several of Ripley’s paintings in the reception hall through Sunday, April 6.

The book celebrates the vibrant beauty of the Cape Fear region through a compilation of gouache studies of our local flora, fauna, and architectural landmarks. Each miniature work of art—ranging from 4×6 inches to as small as 1×1.5 inches—offers a rich snapshot of the area, reflecting Jodie’s unique approach to light and color.
