Athletic Trainers in the Physician Practice Setting: Orthopedic Trauma/Limb Restoration
In this talk, Daniel Ruedeman, an athletic trainer with the University of Colorado Health, will discuss his role as an athletic trainer within the physician practice setting, specifically the trauma team in which he works.
Ruedeman will highlight patients who have been through his program and their outcomes. Using images and x-rays, he will discuss some unique trauma cases. Ruedeman will also discuss athletic training student clinical immersions, expectations of immersions, and athletic training residencies.

About the Speaker:
Daniel Ruedeman is an athletic trainer with 23 years of experience in the physician practice setting. He is currently in his 11th year with the Trauma Team at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, CO. Ruedeman completed his undergraduate work at Concordia University in Nebraska and his graduate work at Middle Tennessee State University. He completed his athletic training residency at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO in 2007.
