Thalian Hall Main Stage Theatre
Acclaimed director Sofia Coppola (Lost in Translation, Marie Antoinette) crafts a tensely atmospheric thriller inspired by the 1971 Clint Eastwood/Don Siegel classic. A gripping tale of repression and desire at a girls' school in Virginia during the Civil War, where the women have been sheltered from the outside world, until a wounded Union soldier is taken in. Soon, the house is taken over with sexual tension, rivalries, and an unexpected turn of events. Starring Nicole Kidman, Colin Farrell and Kirsten Dunst.

From the critics:
"Sofia Coppola is a virtuoso of image and sound, but don't mistake her delicate touch for weakness. The Beguiled is a hothouse flower of startling power and intimacy. You can't shake it." Peter Travers - Rolling Stone
