Sylvia Johns Ritchie & Class Act - Original music by Sylvia Johns Ritchie,
(songs with Jazz, Beach & Blues influences) plus performances of Class Act’s
favorite tunes from the American songbook.
Sylvia Johns Ritchie (Lead Vocals & Piano) is an award winning New Orleans
musician, singer/songwriter, and one-of-a-kind dynamic entertainer who's been
captivating audiences in clubs and at festivals throughout the South for
decades. Her original tunes come from a rich palate of jazz, blues, country and
Cajun music, and since moving to the Cape Fear area, she's received attention
and airplay on beach music radio across the Carolinas. Her bandmates include
Barry Langston (Bass, Guitar, Vocals), a talented multi-instrumentalist and a
veteran of many popular regional bands, including Heart & Soul. Nel Nichols
(Harmonica, Keyboard, Vocals) brings her unique chromatic harmonica,
wailing blues harp, and keyboards to the Class Act sound. As a producer,
studio owner, and performer, JK Loftin (Guitar, Vocals) is well-known in the
Wilmington music community, adding his stellar resume of musical experience
to the Class Act line-up for this performance.
