Phil Bruschi presents "Neil Diamond: Singer, Songwriter" at the Northeast Library, Military Cut-Off Rd. Sunday, April 2, 2:00pm-4:00pm. Free

It sounds a lot like Neil Diamonds, but it's Phil Bruschi expressing the feel of Neil.

Phil Bruschiis a musician, singer, vocal stylist, and music educator. He presents Neil Diamond: Singer, Songwriter, a biographical and musical program focused on Diamond's career and music, at the Northeast Library on Sunday, April 2, 2:00pm-4:00pm. The program is free.

Bruschi has created a couple dozenof these "edu-tainment" programs, focused on singers like Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Barry Manilow, plus genre specific programs like "Doo Wop" and "Sing and Swing." The programs incorporate biographical and historical notes about the topic enriched with live song from Bruschi's vocal stylings.

One unique quality about this Neil Diamond program is that Diamond still has an active following-Diamond Heads. Listen to Bruschi talk about how he uses his voice to share the artistry of singers (he is not a "mimic") above.
