Aloha to the holidays! Wilmington eateries and drinkeries are uniting for the 4th Annual 12 Tastes of Christmas to benefit the Cape Fear Literacy Council. The theme this year is "retro-tiki." One of the founders and directors of this benefit is Nina Bays Cournoyer. She explains how the tasting works (featuring 12 bites matched with 12 drinks) and why she supports the Cape Fear Literacy Council. Listen above.
12 Tastes of Christmas is on Friday, December 9, 7:30pm-9:30pm at Brooklyn Arts Center (North 4th Street). Tickets are available online. No fancy dress is required, but Tiki-wear is encouraged.
