Donna DeGennaro, PhD is the founder and director of Unlocking Silent Histories (USH), an organization that provides critical and creative media opportunities for indigenous youth. The organization, headquartered in Wilmington, NC, is being featured at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC in partnership with the Maya Traditions Foundation in September.
