Gareth Evans, the executive director of Bellamy Mansion, stopped by to tell us about the main events May 1-3 at the Bellamy during the 3rd Annual Wilmington Wine and Food Festival. The website also lists smaller events leading up to big weekend.
The Highlights: Friday, May 1st from 7:00-10:00 is the VIP Derby Cocktail Party. Live Music, Trey Herring Bourbon, and Cathead Vodka-all with a Kentucky Derby theme. On the afternoon of Saturday, May 2 from 2:00-5:00, the Corks & Forks Grand Tasting Event features tasty morsels from local restaurants paired with over 150 wines from around the world. On Sunday afternoon from 1:00-4:00, Bubbles, Brews, and Street Eats offers mimosas, beer and a variety of food truck delights. All the events include live musicians, so your ears won't feel left out while your palate is tickled.
