Sandy Apple and Phyllis Leimer from the American Association of University Women stopped in to the WHQR Studios to speak with guest announcer and interviewer Gina Gamboni.
They spoke about the AAUW Author Luncheon, which will be held this Saturday. They also spoke about the AAUW, the local chapter of which was formed in 1954. The luncheon will feature four prominent North Carolina authors and serves as a fundraiser for the local and national AAUW.
