The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority has begun construction on a sewer repair project. Partial road closures and adjusted traffic patterns are underway and will be in effect through the weekend in Wilmington.
Lane shifts on N. Kerr Ave. will affect southbound travel from MLK Parkway towards Market Street, though northbound traffic will not be affected. The westside lanes of N Kerr Ave. at McClelland Dr. will be closed completely, so motorists heading east will need to use alternate routes to access MLK and Market. Construction is set to end Sunday.
